Any part time relationship lacks strength and stability. A relationship has to be a daily commitment if it’s going to last. Some people seek & fellowship with GOD whenever it is convenient to them. They often think they can reap the full time benefits of living right before GOD, with little or no effort. It’s time to give GOD 1st place in all areas of our lives & put away those people, places & things that draw us away from HIM. We must, by all means, stay on that path that will lead us into righteousness & not be conformed to those around us that live to gratify their flesh. Daily, we have to be dying to sin more and more, and living to righteousness more and more. GOD provided HIS Word to help us along the way. He gave us HIS SON Jesus Christ as a sacrifice for the sins of those who will repent from wickedness & follow His Example. But, as with many things it requires us to choose to use our resources to better ourselves. FATHER GOD, thank YOU for direction, deliverance, and YOUR Mercy & Grace this day YOU have made. Help us to focus on YOU, no matter what. Cleanse our thoughts, motives & desires from anything that doesn’t please YOU, with YOUR Word.
For in GOD we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28). HE is the very source of our existence: the principles of life & motion, also comes from HIM. GOD is good no matter your situation or circumstances. Whether you have been fired or your wife cheated on you; if you have just been lied to, or someone just punched you in your face, GOD is good no matter what may be going on in your life. Stop feeling as if no one has ever gone through what you have. Believe me, whatever the problem, someone would kill to be were you are at. If you woke up this morning & you can see, hear, have clothes, food or shelter, rejoice to The GOD of all Creation, in that you made it to another day. Nobody owes you anything. We all owe GOD for HIS Grace & Mercy toward us. Someone, right now, hasn't eaten in days, has no drinking water, is being beaten in the head for something that they have not done. Others are in hell, wishing they would have listened all the times that GOD sent someone to get them to turn from their wicked ways and seek GOD. Turn off that music, television show, music video or whatever has your attention & prayerfully seek God concerning your eternity through The Word of GOD.
