....Please note..: All songs uploaded to this page (on the myspace music player) have been uploaded with the relevant artists' permission..... .... ..Preparations are well and truly underway to stage the first, fair dinkum, Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival in 2011..... A big part of the festival itself will revolve around a daytime/evening concert in Rosalind Park, which we intend to be a free-entry, family-friendly event. For this reason we will be relying heavily on funding from numerous sources, including Government grants, Local Council backing and Corporate sponsorship to allow it to happen... As a show of good faith to our potential backers and to demonstrate that the local music scene and Bendigo’s punters are keen to get behind this festival and make it happen, we are staging a number of fundraisers, including a multi-band show at the ..Golden Vine Hotel.. on ..Saturday February 5th.. 2011... The line-up for this Fundraiser will mostly consist of local bands and performers, all willing to contribute to the cause with their time and talents!.. There will be a couple of out-of-town acts join the line-up, as a preview to just some of the awesome talent the eventual Festival will bring to Bendigo... There will be no less than 15 acts performing, utilising the Lounge stage from 3pm through to midnight and the Beergarden from 3:30pm to around 9pm... An entry fee of $15- will apply on entry, due to the purpose of the event – it’s a fundraiser for the actual Festival, which will ultimately be held in Bendigo next year - but this pittence will be disproportionately small compared to the array of talent you'll be able to enjoy for the afternoon and evening...
