About me:

I've performed with several bands over the years with genres of ROCK, HARD ROCK, METAL, R&B, SWING, COUNTRY, BLUES, OLDIES, CHRISTIAN METAL, GOSPEL, PRAISE, BEACH AND ORIGINAL MATERIAL and have "Enjoyed everything that I have done and places I've been and the people I've met".

"Back in the mid 90's, I was a member of the Promark Sticks "Project X" team and have been featured on http://www.handidrummed.com since 2004".

"My drums are LUDWIG "Rocker Series" from the 1980's and of those pieces, I'm using 10x10, 12x12, 14X14, 16x16 and 18x16 toms, 24x18 kick and 14x5.5 Pearl "Free Floater" snare, Sabian and Wuhan cymbals, Samson Drum Mics, Rhythm Tech and LP percussion, ROC 'N SOC throne, Hume & Berg cases, Vicfirth Sticks, Remo Heads and a custom made rack by BuddyRingo".

I've recently aquired a set of Premier Cambria's. All toms are R.I.M.S. mounted with Remo Ambassador Coated tops while the bottoms are Remo Ambassador Clear's. The size range...8x7, 10x8, 12x10, 14x12 and 16x14. The bass kick is 22x16 and the snare is 14x5. The kit is lacquer finish with a dark turqouise finish. I am using these now, on the rack, while giving the Ludwigs a well deserved break. Everything else is still about the same....

Right now, I'm working with Amanda Grace Shandra performing and recording Contemporary Christian music. I'm either on the kit or using hand-drums for her shows. This has been a blessing to me and has been a great experience as well. I'm also doing some drum work for Triad Sound Solutions located in Winston-Salem, N.C. and last but not least, performing on the side with Derek Harville and Southern Aces. Regardless of what you do, always remember this..... LIFE IS GOOD!!

And to those of you just starting out on the drums, practice, practice and practice. You'll never get better or learn by just looking at your instrument. Practice with a book, cd, radio, another drummer or however you like, but just do it!!!
