Music plays a vital role in the lives of people. Hip-Hop, a genre that once reigned supreme, has deteriorated in quality over the past few years.

Nevertheless, Hip-Hop can be heard everywhere, from music videos, to commercials, to children's parties. We feel this is because the public

still has a need to hear their stories told through music. Some groups believe Hip-Hop is only a trend. However, we believe this sound to be

eternal. Before the "final nail is hammered into the coffin", we would like to bring forth a new era in the Hip-Hop genre.



Leading this cause is a crew from the Bronx, “B.X.L.” a.k.a. "Brother‘s Xperiencing Life". The crew originally began under the name "Section 8"

in early 2002. B.X.L. includes: Joe Dirt, Buddy Mylez, and producer/artist, Persevere. B.X.L. has had success as a group as well as individually.

All three members have contributed their talents to the music industry.



Since the days of "Section 8", Anthony "Persevere" Robinson has become experienced at producing music. As the youngest of the three, Persevere is

the foundation of the music that B.X.L. has built together. At the age of fourteen, Persevere was already composing tunes on a keyboard. Most

recently at the 2007 Underground Awards, Persevere was nominated for "Best Producer of the Year. In addition, Persevere has produced for major

leaguers, such as Jadakiss and Uncle 0AMurda. Persevere is well on his way to the top. With a "hard hitting" production style and smooth lyricism,

Persevere aspires to go far.



Osnan "Buddy Mylez" Melendez is the lyrical poet of the crew. From New York, to London, Germany, to Bermuda and back. Mylez has built an international

fan-base that has earned him respect as an MC across the globe. Mylez' talents have been recognized with four prestigious awards; ThaUnderground.net’s

L.A. Virgil Artist of the Year of 2006, Best Rap Artist, and 2007 Best Freestyle, as well as repeating L.A. Virgil Artist of the Year for the second year

n a row.



While other artists write about "Street Life", Joseph "Joe Dirt" Galarza writes about his own experiences. No fraud or imitators here. Joe has a natural

knack for moving crowds. Joe has the ability to combine stage presence with his mesmerizing skills on the mic. Joe performed at the 2007 Underground

Awards with Persevere and Buddy Mylez. Joe has also worked with Kevin Kyze for ten years on various projects. Joe Dirt recently captured awards for Best

Artist Of The Year 2008 and Best Song of The Year 2008 on ThaUnderground.net



B.X.L. recently received media attention on New Years' Eve 2007, when their song, "Wasted", produced by Da Boy Maine, debuted on Hip-Hop and R&B Station

Power 105.1 FM. The song was aired by producer Jovonn Alexander, and The World Famous DJ Clue. B.X.L.. is a multi-talented crew, with each member

possessing the ambition and dedication needed to bring forth a new era in Hip-Hop. They are destined to do more than bring this genre back to its original

greatness. B.X.L. is determined to elevate Hip-Hop to the highest form of musical artistry.
