Daddylonglegs is the work of world famous producer Howie B and guitar and analog synth guru Jeremy Shaw.
Howie B is best known for mixing songs by Björk, U2, Robbie Robertson and Ry Cooder. He has also received acclaim as a solo artist, releasing three albums and numerous 12" singles which typify his unique approach to sound. Jeremy Shaw has been a long time collaborator with Howie B on his solo efforts, as the man behind both the synth and guitar. He has also collaborated with Robbie Robertson, U2's Adam Clayton, and Sly and Robbie. When he is not busy with his numerous other projects, he is one half of the Pussyfoot act, Naked Funk. They released their inaugural album, Horse, in 1999. The album is so named because the underlying rhythm of the album is similar to that of galloping equines and the names of the songs contained therein all deal with equestrian themes. Vocals on Horse are provided by Will O'Donovan and mingled with acoustic guitar, bass, and synths to create a truly unique aural experience. ~ Linda Woods
