OK little do people know that I grew up in Newark, NJ....aka Brick City....aka Down Neck.....aka Iron Bound....Anyhooter, for those how don't know it, its more of a inner city than suburbs. For example Nobody had pools, slip'n'slides, sprinklers, or even backyards for that matter!. When it got hot you would most likely see this in my old neighborhood.

and the kid who would be getting yelled at by the lifeguards for running by the pool. (the Clark pool in nj, that we used to sneak into using other people's passes.....so ghetto fab!...thanx mom)

Now to my story..... So the one, and only, family vacation we take when I was 8 years old was to Venezuela. We had this really awesome hotel, with a huge pool and all! And guess what....NO LIFE GUARDS! With is perfect for this little Newark boy.

The best part about the pool was that there was this bridge that went over the pool and on to the other side. So it only took me about 5 seconds to get up on that bridge and jump the hell off right into the pool! Sure it was a 5 or 6 foot high bridge going right into the 3 or 4 foot section,..not to safe at all....but that didn't stop me....and it didn't stop my family from taping it either! ha-ha.

After doing this a couple of times, the hotel people had to come out and yell at me. But at least I still have the old famous dive on tape. And for some reason, I always called it the "Ol' Chicken McNugget"....don't ask...I was a weird child......and not a damn things changed.
