Our very Own Miranda Kerr made a rather quiet secret appearance during Paris Fashion Week , stepping out to walk for Balenciaga. Almost unrecognisable in the pale, stark make-up, it took us a little while to find her! Check her out along with the great SS2010 collection from Balenciaga. Lindsay's Fashion Fail? Lindsay Lohan began her role as Artistic Ambassador for Emanuel Ungaro starting with styling the label's recent show at Paris Fashion Week. Apparently it didn't go down too well with the French Fashionistas and editors in the audience who didn't try to hide their distaste at the sparkly love hearts covering nipples and described the collection as dated. Spring into Summer features designs from Athan-Jon (Jonathan Pampling) who has styled and dressed the likes of Tori Amos, Katie Noonan, Miranda Kerr and the Butterfly Effect, was recently involved in fashion for Miss Earth Australia and sells his unique designs at Principessa. It also features emerging fashion designer Gemma Millington with her ‘Mariposa’ label of flattering and feminine dresses, who has had several successful stores at the Young Designers Markets and who's reputation is rapidly spreading by word of mouth. The event also features bands: Madeleine Paige, Dizzygotheca and Liam Griffin as well as artist Anthony Jigalin and DJs Jane Doe and Anna Sonnenburg. It's free and starts at 5 pm on Sunday 8 November at Barsoma - 4/22 Constance Street Fortitude Valley. xx Heidi |
