GINHOUSE BLUESBAND - Tony Cini (vocals), Paul O'Brien (guitar), Al Briton (bass) and Bruce Stephens (drums). GINHOUSE is a dynamic blues-rock band playing a mix of high energy electric blues that draws from the Chicago of the 1950’s (from Buddy Guy and BB King), to the British Blues Boom of the late 60’s whose players inspired, with bands like Cream and Free, and of course that trans-Atlantic legend, the late great Jimi Hendrix himself, perhaps the single most influential guitarist of all time. Other influences include: Cream, Rory Gallagher, Govt Mule, Walter Trout, the Derek Trucks Band and Tinsley Ellis. ...... ......
  • Influences

The Ginhouse Bluesband is featured on the recently released CD "Tony Cini's Blues Explosion Volume 1". The CD is a great compilation of Australian artists such as Gail Page (Australian Blues Awards - Best Female Vocalist), Cass Eager (Finalist in the OZMusic Awards) and up and coming artists such as Kim Churchill, Jay Howie and Scratch. Not to be missed, the CD features an array of blues styles, from 19-Twenty's country blues, the G Nunan Bands Texas Blues and Christina Crofts "Lucinda Williams meets Rory Gallagher" guitar playing. The cost of the CD is $A20. If you are interested in purchasing a copy of the CD, please contact Tony on this MySpace or go to www.reverbnation.com. ...... ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .... .. .. .. .. .. ................

Can you hear the music in everything, the wind, the light, it is all around me and us.

All you have to do is open yourself up to everything, sound, smell, feeling, touch.

We grow up and others try to stop you hearing the music but when i am alone it builds up inside of my very being.
I am older now and many dont want me to express what i hear in music. the vibrations, listening to what is around you.

The thing is all you have to do is listen and you will hear, feel the music around you.
People love to stop you from hearing the music. If I could learn how to play it that my world will be rich and full.

I can hear my parents, my history, my very being.
When I inform another person, many believe it is silly and that life is life.
Sometimes the world tried to knock it all out of you, especially as a child growing up and even now, I believe in music and artist, just like children believe in stories of fairytales.

I know what I hear in music came from my parents and my history. It was hidden for along time.. my father  took me out of it, even though it lives inside of me, i never shared it because of my fathers words.

When i first wrote music other's could not believe i wrote such a classical orchestral 8.59 second piece untill in 1965 it was played in sydney town hall..Music is my soul and now I empower and inspire others never to give up such a gift, if you do it slowly cripples you as you grow old that you never fully expressed such sounds.. I know that bass is great when there are several playing and someone said to me that is not what should be heard.
Music is everywhere, when you are open to it, It comes through to you when you listening.

Be brave, be front row centre and live your music and art. As it is you that makes a difference in others lives. An gives you your expression of lif
