Since Migrating to Perth from the small coastal town of Albany WA in 2008 the band has been making a steady impact on the Perth original music scene having already headlined shows in some of WA's top live venues and winning a heap of band competitions. More recently, Homebrewe took out the "Foundry Band comp 2009" and have also won "The Peoples Choice Award" in the WA State Final of the National Campus Band Comp 2008. The band has also supported the likes of Children Collide, The Choir Boys, Cut of Your Hands and many more as well as establishing a very solid and rapidly growing fan base. Homebrewe are becoming well known in WA for their entertaining and energetic live shows. The band received airplay in the US on over 100 College Radio stations with their previous EP release "You Will See...", have featured on 2 US rock compilation CD's featuring the best upcoming global talent - after being scouted on MySpace- with one of their tracks, "Beautiful View" making it as number 10 on SMASH 679 Radio California's Indie Alt Rock Chart where it still stands. Homebrewe have also played at the WAMi (West Australian Music Industry) Festival and feature on the 2009 WAMi compilation CD featuring the best of West Australian Music. as well as receiving national airplay on many Independent radio stations with their latest and previous releases.
