After many years of djing within the club circut in Glasgow, i decided to do an HND in music and audio technology. The purpose of this was to give me a better understanding of sound and production. I have played in many clubs alongside some of the biggest dj's in the world. These include Kevin Saunderson,James Zabelia,DJ Misha,The Horrorist,Petrea Foy,John O bir, Dj Elite, Dave The Drummer, Micheal Kilkie,Sander van Droon,Chris Liberator,Dj Misjah,Gabry Fasano,Mark Sherry and many more. .... Before i took to djing i didnt really like electronic music, but in 1999 i bought a set of technics 1210's and the journey began from there. I started of as a trance dj, then moved onto the harder more techy side, after that i then began to play techno. Since then i have started to listen to the more minimal sounding techno and Detroit techno. I can be found mainly at nites in Glasgow like Pressure,Monox,Camoflage,Return to mono,Cotton Cake, Optimo and any other techno orientated nights in Glasgow. .... During my time djing in Glasgow, i held a residency at Full on in scotstoun, Privilage, i also djed for M8, Played at RATT, Refresh and Bttf nights at the Arches,Archaos and ran my own nights called Drummed at Alaska and the Vaults, aswell as Electronik at the Q-Club. I was the first up and coming dj to have a mix played on what was then Beat106,and i came second in the first dj competition i entered i also played at nights in Ayr and Falkirk. I also done my own broadcasts over the internet on sunday mornings called Techno for breakfast. .... The best thing about my djing was getting to play at the Arches twice and the world renound Glasgow Barrowlands at European Techno Heaven. .... We use all aspects of djing also, this includes Ableton live,Cdj's and 1210's,we are also begining to look at hardware use for live performance. .... I gave up djing for a while due to work commitments, but now i am concentrating on my djing and production work again. .... .. ......
