The Impromptulons are an elusive collective of Brisbane noisemakers and sound artists who perform a highly rhythmic but totally free form of improvisation based on the 'everybody solos, nobody solos' principle. Instruments include pecussion objects, strings, electricity, panda box, trumpet and feedback. two impromptulons have played music throughout the world in major experimental sound happenings and all have been active in the fertile australian noise underground in bands and 'events' including Volvox, No Guru, Baconfat Synaptic Uprock, Faber Castell, Perfect Lovers, Resi-quat, Gyanism, Vangelis and The White Petunias.
