Bio
Brought up in a musical household, I took to music early. Steered into folk music by my father at the end of the folk boom of the 60's, I was influenced by 'newcomers' like Don Maclean, Bob Dylan and Paul Simon as well as the older generation like Pete Seeger. .. .. I was fortunate enough to co-write with Michael Fix begin_of_the_skype_highlighting end_of_the_skype_highlighting a song for Slim Dusty's historic 'Looking Forward, Looking Back' CD which went double platinum. That song was later recorded by Cat Southern and nominated for a People's Choice Award at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. .. .. In 2008, I was a finalist in the Dolphin Awards for Best Jazz Song with "Blame it on the Moon'. .. .. I enjoy experimenting with jazz sounds but remain true to my 'folky' roots. I play guitar, banjo and ukulele. .. .. ............Myspace Layouts.... - ....Black and White Myspace Layouts...... ....Myspace Codes.... - ....Myspace Generators.... - ....Myspace Backgrounds.... .......... .... .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. -

Influences
James Taylor, Paul Simon, Pete Seeger, Bob Dylan, Don Mclean, ..... all those classic folk/rock guys in the 60's. I grew up hearing that stuff and I thought a man with a guitar could change the world. -
Sounds Like
James Taylor, Kenny Rankin in my head ... but you know how that is!
