Bio
Each de Ness Show is a musical genre bending performance of Original Tango and Latin Jazz, French gypsy, chilled out lounge and a splash of Kabaret! An interactive entertaining and uplifting experience for young and old alike, you'll find yourself dancing, singing clapping and grooving to the smooth sounds of this slick band. Local group de Ness consists of composers Jen de Ness and Bill Atkinson who are now accompanied by world-class musicians, to bring you the uniquely entertaining de Ness Jazz Kabaret Show. The smooth, powerful and theatrical voice of Jen de Ness is supported by slick guitar playing from Bill Atkinson, virtuoso violin playing from Ashley Arbuckle, hot percussion from Satish Krishnan and cool bass playing from Manoli Vouyoucalos. Between them, these musicians have played at various Jazz and Music Clubs and Festivals throughout the world, played principal violin in the world's best orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic and LSO, played in Bollywood and theatre productions, released original CDs, produced Jazztracks for ABC Radio, played rock and roll covers to fans at Entertainment Centers and played original music to thousands. With the amazingly diverse de Ness/Atkinson compositions, alongside the beautiful string arrangements of Ashley Arbuckle and the theatricality of Jen's performance, this exciting combination of musicians will take you on a music journey that you'll remember long after the last song has ended. Whether playing smooth, dance filled outdoor and family concerts to thousands of festival goers or slick and sultry Jazz Kabaret for the corporate and world class Jazz & Festival Clubs, de Ness always delights with a show not to be missed. -

Really enjoyed your show at Kulcha. The full band and string arrangments really suited your music. I especially loved your song Dead Sista. Congratulations! May your music continue to reach a wider and wider audience.
