I Leeches sono la rock band italiana che più di ogni altra riesce a trasformare ogni suo show in uno spettacolo unico e irripetibile. Passione, spontaneità e divertimento sono gli ingredienti genuini che hanno portato la band a farsi apprezzare da pubblico e critica, lungo un percorso artistico di successo in continua ascesa. Chi li segue sa esattamente cosa ci si può aspettare dalle loro esibizioni dal vivo: una vera e propria festa in stile “Animal House”. Spinti da interessi comuni (il punk rock!) i Leeches si incontrano nel 2002, a pochi chilometri dalla frontiera svizzera, per provare a combinare in un’unica line-up tutte le esperienze personali maturate in precedenti formazioni.

Bastano pochi minuti di prove per capire che la ricetta è vincente: nessuna delle trascorse band dove i componenti avevano militato appare così energica, efficace e originale. Partono i primi concerti e per quattro lunghi anni i LEECHES si dedicano principalmente all’attività live, coltivando un pubblico sempre più numeroso.
Pubblicano un EP/split e un vinile 7”, dove vengono fissati i primi brani di repertorio. Il 2006 segna l’anno del debutto ufficiale con la pubblicazione del primo full lenght: “Fun is dead” (Nextpunk Records). Il CD contiene 11 tracce in piena attitudine punk rock, grondanti di sudore e follia e marchiate dall’ormai inconfondibile impronta stilistica della band. Brani come Jesus love the leeches o Fun is dead diventano dei veri e propri inni.

La band è particolarmente prolifera e nell’estate del 2007 torna in studio e incide nuovi brani, non prima di aver firmato con la Tre Accordi Records. Nella primavera del 2008, viene pubblicato “Eat The Leeches”, album che conferma il successo dei LEECHES. Riprendono un’intensa attività live che li vede impegnati anche a supporto di band come Danko Jones, Adolescents, Agent Orange, Hard-ons e inseriti nei cartelloni dei più rilevanti festival come il MIAMI ’09. Spunta nuovo materiale e dopo aver rinnovato la collaborazione con la Tre Accordi, i LEECHES pubblicano nel 2010 “Get Serious”, terzo album in carriera, prodotto da Mars Valentin, chitarrista dei Valentines. I LEECHES si preparano alla prossima stagione con un live set ancora più divertente e spettacolare, durante il quale presenteranno il nuovo repertorio assieme ai classici della loro discografia.

The leeches are an Italian rock band that, more than any other, can transform every performance into a unique and unrepeatable live show. Passion, spontaneity and fun are the natural ingredients that led the band to be appreciated by critics and audiences along a path of artistic success that continues to grow. Who follows them knows exactly what you can expect from their live performances: a real "Animal House" party.
Driven by common interests (punk rock!) the Leeches meet themselves in 2002, just few kilometers from the Swiss border, to try to combine in one line-up all the experiences gained in previous bands.

Few minutes of testing lasts to see that the recipe is winning: none of the bands where the members had militated seems so energetic, effective and original. the first shows start and for four long years the Leeches devoted themselves to the live activity, encreasing in every show the fans number. They publish an EP / split and a vinyl 7 ", where the first pieces of repertoire are fixed. The year 2006 marks the official debut with the publication of the first full length album, "Fun Is Dead" (Nextpunk Records). The CD contains 11 tracks in full punk rock attitude, dripping with sweat and madness and marked by the now unmistakable stylistic stamp of the band. Songs like “Jesus Loves the Leeches” and “fun is dead” becomes real anthems. The band is particularly prolific and in summer 2007 is back in studio to record new songs, not before he signed with the Tre Accordi Records...

In spring 2008, the band release "Eat The Leeches", the album that confirms the success of Leeches. An intense live activity brings the band to support bands like Danko Jones, Adolescents, Agent Orange, Hard-ons and to be included in the most important italian festivals, such as the “Miami '09 festival”. new material comes out and after renewing the partnership with their lable, in 2010 the Leeches publish "Get Serious", the third album in their career, produced by Mars Valentin, guitarist of the band Valentines. The leeches are preparing for next season live shows even more fun and spectacular, during which they will share new songs along with classics of their discography.
