The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences placed Martin Stephens on the Official Ballot for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in the following categories: Category 6 - Best Male Pop Vocal Performance Martin Stephens - I’ll Be Your Only True Love Category 6 - Best Male Pop Vocal Performance Martin Stephens - I’m Begging You Please Born in the UK not to far from where Ozzy Osborne lived. I was always really a guitarist/songwriter and band leader in my 20's and studied music for years. Mainly recording at home. Due to constant band splits and clashes with personalities I decided not to do anything for for a while. In 2000 I picked up my guitar again and start singing lessons. I then decided that I would write songs in various styles and have since recorded tracks from Hard Rock, electronica, oldie style ballads. The skys the limit. I play all the instruments and vocals myself on all my recording and do most of the vocal harmonies to. At them moment im concentrating on the 1950's/1960's theme as portrayed in my song listings. I can't say that I know you, except on these pages. We've never met but I have gotten the impression that you're a man with a destiny; you are going to go places. Have you ever listened to the Canadian band, The Tragically Hip? They've been around now for some time and there is a thriving exchange of bootlegs among fans (because the band actually encourages fans to record them!). Start anywhere you choose in their catalogue but their live album, "Live Between Us," from the very end of the 90's would be a good choice. This is all assuming that when you are not making your own music you listen to others and not yourself.
