PINCH OF HUNGER is the new ELECTRO project of Mike Parque...............................................
Mike created both 1/2Qi STUDIO and 1/2Qi RECORDS in 2002, producing the first album of the electro-alternative band MYSTERIOUS TRAVELLER......................................................................
From 2002 to 2005, 2 other albums of MYSTERIOUS TRAVELLER, 2 albums of the hip-hop band THE BROOKLYN SQUAD and the one and only album of the band MANDRAKE were produced on 1/2Qi RECORDS .......................................................................................................................................
In 2006 the infamous trash punk band Dr ZORG recorded the album ZORGOLOGY in Nantes at 1/2Qi STUDIOS, in 2007 the instrumental alternative rock band THE BARKING DOGS recorded their first album on Mike's label................................................................................................................
2008 is the date of birth of NEXT HUMAN GENERATION, mixing jazz surf rock funk punk dub....where Mike plays the lead guitar for 3 years now. Between 2008 and 2011, 5 albums were produced..............................................................................................................................................
More recently (2011) Mike plays the guitar in the progressive trio THE OUTERSPACE MILKMEN with friends from Greece (Chris/drums) and Belgium (Rob/basses).............................................................
The same year he decided to lead a kind of solo project where his guitar could take some rest. As always, friends are welcome to play in this new project and you will hear some great musicians from all over the world in PINCH OF HUNGER.....................................................................................
Basically Mike will not play that much guitar in this project but bass, minimoog and sampled drums.
