Bio:

.. Hello, we are Pose Tattoo. We are not so much a band than a collection of ideas. We met at a bus stop one day when Sad Sanderson was playing travel scrabble by himself, trying to beat his high score. A wind came and blew away some of the letters. Chance gave birth to this legion of campers who were there to pick up the pieces. We saw where some of the letters fell spelt the word 'la' and took it as inspiration to start a band and write the song 'la', even though none of us could play an instrument or go into public without heavy medication. We 'borrowed' some instruments from the primary school where Rosemary works and played our first gig outside a belle & sebastian concert, covering the Smiths 'Panic' on castanets. We were given licorice and signed to 'chamomile high club' label run by members of Melbourne soup group 'The Fragile Poppets' from a craft shop near the old rob roy. We played a series of gigs in cosy Melbourne venues, our live show antics making us sharehousehold names. We were infamous for ending our three song sets by setting fire to a tea bag rocket and smashing our recorders, well, smashing the record for placing them gently in their cases. Recently we have added to our sound and made it a bit more organic, especially when Brian Cardigan brings his fruitcake. Yum. We are currently recording an obscure Ep with a japanese friend which should be never available at any stage.
