He had a goal, and he strategically set out to achieve it. .... While working on his degree as a full time student, Ryan toured with Lonestar during his sophomore and junior year, playing guitar in the band. In the Spring of 2007, he was asked to audition for a new country artist fresh off of American Idol. He earned the position, playing guitar and singing harmonies for BNA Recording Artist Kellie Pickler. .... Playing with Kellie, Ryan was part of the tours of Brad Paisley, Rascal Flatts, Sugarland, Taylor Swift. He has performed on national television, on the Grand Ole Opry, and at Ford’s Theater for President Bush. And, one of greatest honors has been for him to work with the USO, traveling over seas to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Germany, and the United Kingdom to perform for the troops stationed there. .... In 2010, Ryan came off the road to focus on writing, playing, and producing music in Nashville. A native Coloradoan, Ryan Ochsner moved to music city in 2004 for two reasons: to study in Music Business at Belmont University and to begin a career that would allow him to explore many creative avenues in music and entertainment. He had a goal, and he strategically set out to achieve it.
