$elf Made Productionz, is an Independent record label out of that Big D-Town Denver, Colorado!!!! Founded in 2004 by J-Dog and Pru. We bring an unique sound and a new flavor to Denver's Music Scene!!!! Members Include "The Phenomenal 1" J-Dog, "Da Royal Don" Pru, "Gangsta Miss" Cristyle, "The Voice" Racquel, "The Roughnec Rednec" Travis-T, "The 1 and Only" Osirise, Isus "The Queen" and Lil Vateo. With Travis-T droppin the some of the siccest beats denver's ever seen and $elf Made rippin it up, it's a truly new $ound. Every one of our artists bring a certain passion and lov for the game every time they touch the mic. Even if you don't like everything we put out, we have something for everyone. Music has always been a very important part of our lives and always been a dream to pursue. One of $elf Made's biggest influences is the late great 2 Pac Shakur. His music inspired and moved many people. He was a truly versatile artist, with a certain charisma that has yet to be matched by anyone else. His music set the bar for years to come. 2 Pac's music is still played today with most of his songs becoming hits. His passion for the industry and the music he made is one of the biggest influences on our music. Another big influence, is Master P and No Limit Records. When I look at Master P I see the 1st rapper to build an empire. He Built No Limit Records from the ground up and turned it into a dynasty. No Limit was on top for a long stay and they turned many rappers platinum along the way. When you look at No Limit, of course you had Master P, but you also had plenty of other talent including C-Murder, Silkk The Shocker, Mia-X, Fiend, Mr. Serv-On, Mystikal, Kane & Abel, Soulja Slim, and many many more. When No Limit came up they all came up. Master P was a very smart man and very knowledgeable about the industry. He Truly built an empire, which is a similar goal of $elf Made Productionz. Other major influences include Eazy-E, Ice Cube and Russell Simmons. Their raw talent took them farther than many rappers can dare dream.Eazy-E and Ice Cube brought the real "hood" out in every verse that they spit. Eazy-E was a true poineer of Gangsta rap. Ice Cube proved that you can do it all, rap, movies, if you really want it. Russell Simmons is one of the biggest and best labelheads out there, he has Def Jam and has his own clothing line. He has made many superstars. Def Jam continue's to be a staple for New York rap. Those are some of $elf Made's biggest influences in the music industry.
