SOTO is the combined talents of Sonia and Toby. They have been Dj'ing for about ten years and producing for six.

Sonia has been the label manager at the worlds leading breaks label BOTCHIT & SCARPER , for the last 9 years. Botchit & Scarper is one of the original Breaks labels started in the early 90s. Previously home to the likes of MJ COLE, SHY FX, FREQ NASTY, BLIM and T.POWER the original wave of breaks producers and now home to ATOMIC HOOLIGAN, DEEKLINE & WIZARD, LAWGIVERZ, JASON SPARKS, LBJ, BACKDRAFT and of course SOTO. Toby is a sound designer/engineer and continues to write music for museums, TV, as well as fulfilling his SOTO recording commitments. He also supplied the music and sound design for URBIS, a 30 million pound interactive museum in the centre of Manchester.

2001 - 2005 saw them undertaking various World Tours .. The States, Canada, Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Germany, Italy, Poland, Hungary (and SOTO were the 1ST BREAKS ARTISTS TO PLAY IN THE UKRAINE). They have appeared on MIX MASTERS on ITV 1. They have also featured in magazine articles worldwide.

GHETTO BLAST YA! on ATOMIC HOOLIGAN and JAY CUNNING's label MENU MUSIC has genuinely been creating a stir with its unusual triplet time signature and fresh approach.... AND WAS NOMINATED BEST SINGLE AT 2007 INTERNATIONAL BREAKBEAT AWARDS!
