    From a Young age, the two MCs, Enggy And Synergy have been turning their lyrical chemistry and common love for Hip Hop into the group now known as Tailor Made. After the release of their first EP 'The Beginning' (2010), Tailor Made joined forces with Able2 (DJ/Producer) and started making a name for themselves, rocking high-energy shows in and around Brisbane. For Tailor Made, The Beginning marked both the establishment of a style and the initiation into the Brisbane Hip-Hop scene. The beats, predominately crafted by Enggy under the mentorship of Sammsonite (The Optimen) are a collection of evocative, J.Dilla inspired head-nodders. The lyrics, although hard-hitting, avoid being pretentious with quick-witted, light-hearted humour. This combined with the youthful, well-contrasted perspectives of post-secondry school, pre-mortgage life provides an easy-listening yet energetic collection of tracks. 'The Beginning' also features The Optimen, Pure Product and Queensland slam poet finalist MC Lesson. Now well established and thriving in their style and method of production, Tailor Made are now working on two project, A free download EP entitled 'Behind The Seams' and their debut album entitled 'The String Theory'. .. .. ..     We're looking for a support act for a series of Brisbane and SE Qld/NNSW gigs this year and for a national tour, including festivals, next year. The gigs and tour have promotional and managerial financial backing.

    Support slots are currently available for The Zoo on Thursday 16th September and The Powerhouse in late October.

.. .. .. .... Tailor Made are among the next generation of Australian Hip Hop. Based in Brisbane, Tailor Made have already caught the attention of Boomtown heavyweights The Optimen and Pure Product, who feature on Tailor Made’s new release The Beginning. The two young artists met at a workshop at Brisbane’s Powerhouse at the age of 16. Initially dissing each other in an open mic, Enggy and Synergy quickly found common ground in Hip Hop, and before long they started collaborating. Eventually, there was no denying they had formed a group of some sort, a blend of styles, and thus Tailor Made was born. The group now consists of Enggy (MC/Producer), Synergy (MC/Producer) and Able2 (DJ/Producer).

In March of 2010, Tailor made released an 11 track EP/Sampler entitled The Beginning. Inspired by Funk, Soul and Blues, this release showcases Tailor Made's beat-making prowess and ability to craft well-grounded, conceptual lyrics. From the picturesque reflection of ‘Under The Weather’ to up-beat humour of ‘In The Morning’, The Beginning is both a celebration of youth and a deliberation of introspect. This release marks the start of what is bound to be a long and fruitful career in the music industry. Above all, it shows the incredible potential of Tailor Made, one of Brisbane’s most promising emerging talents.
