Ugly brings best of Blues up the hill
Band was focused on BASEQ Blues Performer Of The Year Competition.
This Competition usually in past has been held on Tuesdays or Thursday evenings so that bands dont have clashes with gigs. This year however Club decided to have whole Comp in one day, the Sunday club day at Jubilee.
Same weekend of Muster which some of my boys are committed to.
So even though entered we unable to Hit.
Shame really as lineup has improved since 2008 which saw band then runners up behind Blind Lemon. Would have loved a shot at 2010.
So new Plan is to get the Norville happening. The 1st sunday in every month is the plan.
We plan to use some of our sundays for Double Hitters. Bring em up the hill from Bris and Coast.
So hope to see you at the Session or one of the bigger functions.
Wylie Reed will be in december and Angela Fabian early in 2011.
