Few characters have stirred such warmth in our hearts as The Hunger Games’ Primrose Everdeen, the little duck whose name is called at her first reaping causing big sister Katniss to volunteer in Prim’s stead…possibly changing the future world forever. That sweetie is played by a real-life sweetie named Willow Shields who had just a couple of credits under her belt when cast in ‘The Hunger Games’ (an episode of ‘In Plain Sight’ and a tv movie called ‘Beyond the Blackboard’), but in the film with just a look or a word she can evoke tears to well in just about anyone’s eyes.
