Terry is considered as one of the better Mixer/Producers of the Melbourne music scene. Starting his career in band's and working his way into the studio,his love of technology and sideway's approach to his work earnt him the reputation as a "go to" guy when all was looking lost. Ok so what's going on. For years now I have been working with a variety of styles and a gammet of producers and writers. The one thing that came from this amazing experience (and life) is one hell of a mixed up sensability toward music. The brilliance of Timbaland and Missy Elliot, the sideway's approach of Aphex Twin and Tricky, the Cool of Daddy G and Pharell, the pop cool of Stone Temple Pilot's (a fave!) and Foo Fighters they all have a place and there own unique voice. When influenced by so many styles what do you yourself end up writing?. Well the stuff I write is so whacked out alot of the time that i find myself putting constraints on the projects because of outside influence. This is both good and bad. Good because you do need to focus on getting what you hear in your head, down on tape first (my belief anyway). After that, sometimes those little voices in your head are saying "Not Done Yet". Now what!! Mates, collegues, other muso's, and sometimes just an accident come to the rescue. A new version of maybe a once tired or lost track is born!! Most of what you will hear from me is exactly that. Sometimes I will write all from go to wo, but with the group of people that make up this unique core I am able to bounce my ideas seamlessly.
